The best feedback from customers 484 of 497 people found this review helpful. The best camera for ... Robert S. Tobias ... is one you have with you. The beauty of Canon's ELPH series that easily fits in your pocket, well built / design does not cost much, comes with a boatload of features, and takes great pictures. The SD1300, continuing the last ELPH line that tradition to add significant further refinement and offer some useful features in order to reduce costs. It is a tiny camera and carries the baggage that comes with the convenience of having to carry as little baggage. (Sorry, could not resist) None of the issues raised, because it comes as part of the convenience trade-offs made me think about other than the 5-star rating this camera deserves. - Many features are accessible only through menus, sometimes several layers deep. The good news is the automatic and scene modes are very good (the time to take a moment to review what they actually do) This camera is not intended to be used in aperture or shutter priority, much less fully manual. - Battery life may be less than expected. What is a compensation for having a camera that is small and light, you have a battery that is small and light. One thing you can do is get a spare battery. That is good advice for any camera. Another thing that helps is to keep the screen as possible. This means that the possible use of the monitor. The "sad" is that Canon decided to put the display on this model. This means that a camera that is simpler and less expensive to make, but will go through batteries faster because you have to use the screen to shoot. - The response of the camera is a little slow to effectively raise children and pets. The trick to doing this is to either have a great sense of timing and a shutter directly burst mode and a reasonably fast (> 4 times / sec) This camera does not respond. Some other suggestions that apply to: - Use the lowest ISO available given the requirement for an aperture or shutter speed. To avoid technical and higher education always has a higher ISO noise. The question is when it becomes noticeable. The new DSLR you more than 1000, perhaps more, depending on the camera, before the sound noticeably. For this camera, making it at or below 200 is a good idea. - Do not use in-camera sharpening. Digital images often benefit from sharpening, but you can do better with a photo editing program. Computer-based algorithms tend to be more refined and you should instead evaluate the results on the screen of the LCD of the camera. - If you want to know more vivid colors sRGB and Adobe RGB instead of choosing. While fewer colors are distributed over a wider range, improves on computer screens, many commercial laboratories, and other places your pictures emerge. Finally I found the Case Logic QPB-1 Compact Digital Camera Case (black / gray) is just the right size for this camera. It is semi-rigid, so a lot of protection, but not add a lot of bulk. It is made even better by using one of these, Nite Ize SB1-2PK-01 Size-1 S-Biner, Black, 2-pack, to be attached to a belt. BTW, I know that fair and effective reviews can take place in the first place are missing from online shopping experience. I've always appreciated the help I got from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there's something you thought it was insufficient or unclear to leave a comment and I'll do whatever I can to correct the problem. 821 of 869 people found the following review helpful.
